LAHORE: Ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, on Monday, once again criticized the Supreme Court’s (SC) verdict against him in Panama Papers case.
While addressing the worker’s convention of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N), he said, “PML-N’s victory in NA-120 constituency showed that the SC verdict which disqualified him has not been accepted by the masses.”
“People are unable to understand why I was sacked,” he claimed.
Showing his gratitude to the voters of NA-120, the former prime minister said, “I want to kiss all your foreheads”.
“If this passion continues, Pakistan will only move forward and the dignity of the voters will be restored,” he added.
He claimed that the PML-N government has rooted out terrorism from the country.
He also assured the masses that the electricity crisis will be curbed during PML-N’s tenure.
