SRINAGAR: The Indian Army has gunned down 5 more individuals in occupied Kashmir today.
The 5 youths were killed under the guise of a search operation in Shopian. The Indian Army claims that the operation is to curb terrorism in the region. The operation remains on going and cell service has been suspended in Shopian.
The Indian Army also opened fire on unarmed protesters as they campaigned against the violation of their human rights. 20 people were injured and have been transferred to the District Headquarter Hospital.
According to the reports of the hospital, 4 people have been shot in the shoulder and one is very critical and has been transferred to a hospital in Srinagar.
Only in July, the Indian Army is accused of killing 21 civilians while the casualties on just Thursday and Friday have risen to 4.
